Shamesha & Reggie couldn't wait to open the gifts that they were so graciously blessed with by family and friends.  It was fun watching them opening gifts and talking about how they would be used or where they would be placed...  planning their life, their future, their home. It was a blessing to be able to share this moment with them.

Ready to Depart...

The limo has arrived, we are all as made up as we are going to get and ready to head over to Villa Siena where we will complete our preparations. The excitement and emotions are HIGH as we load into the limo. Me personally, I can not believe that the moment is almost here. Our neighbors little girl was standing outside their house as the limo pulled off with a sign she made that said, "Have a nice wedding Congratulations" with smily faces, what a sweet sweet thing for her to do. On the way to the venue we had to make a pit stop for the BRIDE at starbucks for her latte. I think the kids had a blast riding in the limo, and we got to share a few more laughs.

Getting Ready

When we woke up this morning, it was an incredible sunny and beautiful day... all of the details, planning, and chats we'd had, after a lot of hard work, the preparations were done and the big day had arrived.  Shamesha's wedding day, the day we all dreamed about and prayed for. The morning consisted of hugs, laughter, and a few tears... the excitement had been building all week with the arrival of family and friends, AND SO THE DAY BEGAN...

The brothers from Toni n Guy Hair Salons of Phoenix came over to the house and did all of our hair, the bride, bridesmaids, flower girls, mother & mother-n-law of the bride, cousins, grandmother, aunts and even my dad the grandfather of the bride.  The story behind them doing this for us is their dad, Gerry Watkins has been doing my hair for more than 23 years now and he also took care of the girls as they were growing up.  Now his boys are taking caring of my girls.  Our kids really kind of grew up together as brothers and sisters and this was their gift to us for the wedding.  I love the Watkins Family and I know my girls feel the same.  Thank you all so much for such an awesome blessing.
