This is our 2nd cake tasting, the 1st was just as scrumptious, so in our attempt to make the right decision we put alot of thought into the:
- Taste
- Flavor Combinations
- Our Guests' Palates
- Budget
- Don't go on an empty stomach. Everything tastes good when you're hungry, so have a small meal before your cake tasting.
- Drink water in between bites. This will help cleanse your palate so you can really taste each cake flavor without the previous one lingering in your mouth.
- Taste in order. You should taste lighter, fluffier cakes first, then end with heavier, denser cakes. Your baker will likely have your selections organized in this order, so stick with it.
- Be open-minded. You may not normally like ginger or carrot, but mix it with some sugar and butter and it could be something you wind up loving.
This was to give us a visionary of size and how much it would serve...
